Once you have submitted your profile here, then you'll be required to wait until a member of staff comes online and reviews the character. We'll check every part of the profile to make sure that it follows the rules of the forum as well as the details of the RPG plot. Once we have made our review, we will pass verdict on your character; asking you to either modify your profile if it's not in order, or approve it so that you can then participate in the RPG.
Now, us staff members have a life outside of the forum as well as many other things to do whilst we're online. One thing we do not appreciate is being bugged by members to review their profile. We'll get around to it whenever we can and chances are that we're already reviewing the profile or discussing certain parts of it amongst ourselves. Any PMs requesting us to look at a profile submission will be not be taken lightly and we'll most likely delay our review as a result, nor will constant replies to your thread only a day after submission requesting moderation. Patience is a virtue.
Another thing we don't like are members who don't possess staff powers passing judgement over other people's profiles by posting their opinions. If you're neither staff nor the owner of the submitted profile, you have no business posting in other people's threads. It simply clutters up the thread and makes things more difficult for us. Should you have a personal issue with someone's profile, then contact a staff member via private message or any other means and discuss it with them. Do not under any circumstance, post in their profile. You have been warned.
Now, once a reply has been posted by a staff member that requests you to modify your character, it will be up to you to then go about making the changes. We will tell you how you will need to modify so that you know exactly what we feel is wrong with the profile. Do not argue with the staff members just because we don't agree with something. What we say, goes. If you do argue with us, our response will be less than pleasant. Any continuous arguing will result in a straight out denial of your character if you refuse to make edits and possibly further reprimanding depending on the nature of your comments.
We don't like characters that are posted using stupid multi-colours that make the profile impossible to read, such as white or yellow because it looks plain stupid. Keep your profile readable and make sure it's clear. If you mess around with the layout or with colours in your application, don't be surprised if you force you to edit.
Once your character has been accepted, it will be locked and moved to the "Accepted Characters" board, where you will not be allowed to make any edits to your profile. Then, any changes you wish to make can be submitted in the "Character Updates" thread.
